5 Companies with Very Imaginative Custom Boxes Ideas

· custom boxes

When it comes to packaging, all of those big shot businesses out there know that if the packaging is not good, the product will not sell even if it is the world’s best t-shirts or garments. Why I referred to the t-shirts example, instead of talking about products at large? Because one of the 5 best examples of creative and imaginative packaging that I am going to talk about, is t-shirt and garments packaging.

Coming back to the point, the heads of these big companies are definitely not dumb. They are spending millions of dollar on rewiring the design and packaging of their products, without a good reason.

Packaging makes or breaks the deal. If the packaging of your product compels the customers to at least open the box and check the product, there are chances to sell the product, even if it is only half as good as its packaging.

Packaging is the first impression, and it matters a lot. Creative and imaginative packaging establishes the kind of impression that compels customers to have good hopes from your product.

Without wasting your time, let me share with you the 5 most out of the box packaging ideas that struck my mind. Here they are:

  1. Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut rebranded its entire outlook of branding. They have totally reinvented the box. Their 2014 design brought some new changes to the box. It does not have 4 straight corners, but two of them, of the opening side, are now curved. However, getting into curved ends is not all too imaginative and creative packaging.

They turned both opening ends into a way that you can slide your fingers into the box and open it without the help of your nails. It is as easy as sliding two fingers underneath your car’s hood and opening it. Actually, it is way easier than that. You have already been given space to enter the fingers and open the box with a little pull upwards.

  1. Levi’s

Levi’s is a big name when it comes to cotton-made, readymade garments, hosiery and related products. It is one of the best brands in its niche. Their undies are preferred because they are made of 100% cotton and because; well definitely because they are made by Levi’s.

Recently, they changed the packaging of their briefs and boxers. The new Kraft packaging looks like a paper bag and it has a window pane so that you may have a look at the color and texture of the garment inside.

However, the die cut window pane is not the creativity that I referred to. What actually makes this Levi’s custom box kind of hot is it being decorated by a polka-dotted embellishment which looks a lot like match-strike.

Have a look at the packaging, which has been discussed in this post.

  1. Fit Buns

Yes, I have just mentioned a brand which most of the people have never heard of. Let me confess, that even I never heard of it, but I had a look at the image of their bun packaging and I could not help but add it to this list.

The buns are packed in a way that they look like the abs of a man with 6 pack abs: hence the name Fit Buns. The theory is to support the idea that eating these buns leads to ultimate fitness. The beauty of how their packaging echoes with their branding approach is simply awe-inspiring. Have a look at this packaging on Oxot website; the company that designed the packaging.

  1. Patagonia

Anyone who has been into sportswear or hiking garments would know the name of Patagonia. This company is doing very good business. However, there was a time when their base-layers which are what they are mostly known for, were not selling much. There was a clear decline in the sales of their base-layer and this led them to a decision.

They decided to completely revision and introduce a new packaging for their base-layers. This decision led them to CAPSULE: a company known for its amazing designing skills. They wanted CAPSULE to revamp the sushi-role form of their base-layer packing.

What CAPSULE came up with was simply brilliant. They turned Patagonia base-layer packaging into a capsule-like cardboard container with a hanger intact. Have a look at this awesome packaging idea by visiting following website.

  1. Nike

Yet another sportswear and footwear company! Nike is very well-known for its awesome products, especially shoes. Nike Green Speed packaging marks the beginning of a new era of custom boxes which their users will be able to open up with a blazing fast speed: hence the name “Green Speed”.

The packaging is very unique and one of its own kind. It does not only pack and contain a pair of Nike shoes, but also 4 glass test tubes, each containing a separate material which was used to manufacture the shoes. Awesome, idea! Isn’t it? But what is more awesome is the way how box opens up; it opens up like jaws of a shark. Have a look at the packaging by clicking the link below.
